Black Opal Flawless Perfecting Concealer Review (w/ swatches)

The concealer comes in a lipstick form and is an inexpensive option to consider. Just like with most products, I think it will vary widely who this works for. I purchased this to use as an under eye concealer. I don’t really have under eye circles but between my glasses and my face shape, I do have a shadow in that area that I’ve been trying to brighten. I tried it out, but found that at least for me, this product creases under my eyes. I tried it both with setting powder and without, but it didn’t seem to make a difference.

I can’t speak to how this functions as a concealer on the rest of the face, since none of the colors were right for me to use it in that way. The colors toast and tan are very close in color and both worked for me under the eyes, but are too light in color for blemishes/spots. The beautiful bronze color wasn’t quite right for the rest of my face, it ran a little too orange. If you could find the right color, blended out I’d say these could give you a medium coverage.

Black Opal products can be hard to come by, so it may be easier to just check online if you are interested in trying this out. I don’t have a lot of experience with concealers, but based on some of the ingredients I expected this to be creamier in texture. I’d say that if you like a waxier consistency to your concealer then you may like this a lot.
