I finally got my first paint pot. This color is constructivist and is described by mac as “a metallic brown with red pearl.” I like this most applied with the real techniques deluxe crease brush on the lid and blended out for a quick look. However, this product can be used as either an eyeshadow or an eyeshadow base.

The paint pot retails for $21, but you can sometimes find them at the cosmetics company outlets for a discount. Just keep in mind that the stock at these outlets is often discontinued items and sometimes overstock. So if you find an item there you are taking a risk with how old the product is.
How do you like to use paint pots? Let me know in the comments below.
