When you are paying high-end prices, you definitely want an eyeshadow to work well without fussing with it. That is what today’s post is about, the better high-end eyeshadow to purchase if you want a purple shade. These colors are close in color but not exact dupes. The Dior eyeshadow has a better formulation than the Chanel. It is easier to use, more pigmented with less building needed, and in my opinion more worth this price point. The Dior Mono Shadows are $29.50 and the Chanel Ombre Premiere Shadows are $30.00.
I’m not sure exactly why, but I’ve heard many times from beauty insiders that purple eyeshadows are very difficult to formulate. What I don’t understand about that is why a company wouldn’t pass on the color all together until they came up with a formulation that works well.
